Dear Mr. President,
Mabuhay!
Given a chance to write the President of the Philippines and has the opportunity to inform to the President of my opinions and observations of the present situation in our country, particularly in our locality, is a very fortunate on my side as an ordinary youth like me.
Sir, I am a resident in one of the Coastal municipalities of Ilocos Sur that's why I am very much concerns on continuous destruction of the environment especially in our shoreline.
Sir, there are rumors of a "Black Sand Mining" that I though it is the primary cause of the said destruction but the Local Officials strongly denied it.
As per my observation Sir, the shoreline is now very near from the households, to the fact that some of our residents are now transferred to other places and the texture of the sand is like a mud. Going to beach is no longer as fun as before and we the youth are very much bothered on it.
I hope Mr. President tat my letter will serves as your eye opener on the present picture in our locality and to humbly request for the immediate inspection and investigation to our predicament and please, do not simply relay on the report of the Local Government.
